Disguise spray – A hair transplant in a bottle?

One particular product has received rave reviews from happy customers. Known as ‘Disguise Spray’, it’s said to provide the same results as a hair transplant. So if you’ve previously been put off by the high cost of a hair transplant, this could be the solution you’ve been waiting for.

The spray is designed to stain the scalp and prevent light from reflecting off it. There are three different colours available and it’s also water-resistant so you won’t have to worry about it washing off if it rains. The spray dries with a matte effect so that it appears thicker.

It is worth noting that this spray is largely beneficial to those with small bald spots and thinning hair. If you’ve experienced a larger portion of hair loss, you’ll also need the hair fibre product from Jamie’s range. These electronically charged fibres cling on to existing hairs and act a lot like extensions, only they’re obviously a lot shorter.

How long do the results last?

Sadly, the results of these products are short lived. They are only designed to be used as a temporary solution. If you’re looking for more permanent results, it would be worth looking into Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).

SMP is a highly customised treatment for hair loss, that involves specialised pigments being applied to the scalp. This is done via various sized needles controlled via a computerised system. You’re left with realistic looking hair follicles and extremely natural results.

You’ll typically need 2-3 treatments to gain the best results from SMP. The pigments are inserted within the dermal layer of the skin. It is worth keeping in mind that this treatment does not give you more hair. Instead it gives the illusion of hair follicles, producing a recently shaved look. This treatment can even be used to disguise the scars left over from hair transplant surgery.

Overall the disguise spray is a fantastic temporary solution. It’s affordable and very easy to apply. However, treatments such as SMP are recommended if you want more permanent results.
